Standard Forwarding Acquires Jack Cooper's LTL Operations

Reported 2 days ago

Standard Forwarding Freight, a new subsidiary of Sakaem Holdings, has acquired the less-than-truckload carrier Standard Forwarding from DHL. Despite earlier attempts by Jack Cooper to secure the deal, Sakaem successfully closed the acquisition at the year's start. With 14 terminals across the Midwest, Standard Forwarding aims to enhance freight services and streamline the shipping process amidst recent operational challenges faced by Jack Cooper, which is set to shut down after losing major contracts.
