Canadian trucking firm TFI International has abandoned its plan to relocate its legal headquarters to the US following backlash from shareholders, particularly the Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec. The decision came after a strategic acquisition expansion that saw the majority of its operations shift to the US. CEO Alain Bedard stated that the shift was influenced by regulatory requirements but wouldn't significantly impact operations, maintaining that Canadian staff would remain in place.
