IBM successfully won a lawsuit in London against LzLabs, a company owned by John Moores, for allegedly stealing trade secrets related to its mainframe technology. The court ruled that LzLabs' UK subsidiary, Winsopia, breached its software license by reverse-engineering IBM's technology, while LzLabs and Moores claimed they developed their own software independently. A separate matter concerning the liability of another LzLabs subsidiary will be addressed in future hearings.
