According to Bloomberg News, potential buyers interested in Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard and Japan's Seven & i US store operations must express their interest by the end of March amid ongoing antitrust concerns. Couche-Tard is eager to finalize its $47 billion offer for Seven & i, which has indicated a willingness to sell but is wary of competition law issues that complicate the deal. Both companies dominate the US convenience store market with around 20,000 locations combined.
