Waymo, an offshoot of Google, has established itself as a leader in autonomous vehicle technology and robotaxi services, boasting the most miles driven and a substantial weekly trip count. However, with Tesla gearing up to test its robotaxi platform and already having millions of vehicles on the road, the competition could intensify. Experts suggest that while Tesla's vision-based system poses a challenge to Waymo, it still has a long way to go to catch up.
