Foxconn reported that 97% of its iPhone exports from India were sent to the United States between March and May 2025, significantly increasing from 50% in 2024. This trend highlights Apple's strategy to circumvent high tariffs on devices imported from China. In the first five months of 2025, Foxconn shipped $4.4 billion worth of iPhones to the US, signaling a shift in Apple's production and export focus towards India. Analysts expect that iPhones made in India will represent 25% to 30% of global shipments in 2025.
