Brazilian mining company Vale has revised its 2025 iron ore agglomerates production forecast to between 31 and 35 million metric tons, down from the previous estimate of 38 to 42 million tons. This adjustment is attributed to current market conditions for pellets, and the company has also opted to advance preventive maintenance at its Sao Luis pelletizing plant, leading to a temporary suspension of production.
