Financial adviser Ric Edelman has significantly raised his recommended cryptocurrency portfolio allocation from 1% in 2021 to between 10% and 40% in 2025, depending on an investor's risk tolerance. He cites longer life expectancies and the promising growth potential of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, as key reasons for this shift. Edelman believes that the cryptocurrency market, currently owned by only about 5% of the global population, is set for massive growth as adoption increases and previous uncertainties surrounding the asset class are being resolved.
