A Brazilian judge has declined Maersk's request to pause a bidding process for the Tecon 10 terminal at Santos Port, despite the company's call for a review that would permit existing operators to participate. The judge found no illegalities in the auction process designed by Brazil's marine authority, emphasizing that the federal audit court is also reviewing it. Maersk stated it might appeal the decision regarding the phase prohibiting current operators from bidding initially.
