Singapore's fintech firm OpenEden has appointed BNY Mellon as the investment manager and primary custodian for its tokenized U.S. Treasury fund, which launched in 2023 with nearly $300 million in assets. This marks BNY's first offering of both investment and custody services for tokenized funds, amidst increasing interest in tokenized money market funds and a growing push by major U.S. banks into cryptocurrency.
