Airbus, Thales, and Leonardo are on track to sign a preliminary agreement to merge their satellite operations under 'Project Bromo' by the end of the year, according to Airbus Defence and Space CEO Michael Schoellhorn. This collaboration aims to establish a satellite manufacturing company to compete with U.S. and Chinese rivals, including SpaceX's Starlink, although several key issues must be resolved first.
