Australia's corporate regulator has secured a court order preventing Ryan Xu, the director of failed cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain Global, from leaving the country until December 20. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) initiated the order as part of their investigation into Xu's involvement in the collapse of ACX Exchange in 2019, which left unsecured creditors with debts totaling approximately A$58 million. A court hearing is scheduled for October 30.
