Bosch, the largest car parts supplier globally, will decrease the working hours and pay for around 10,000 employees in Germany due to challenges in the auto sector stemming from weak demand and competition from cheaper Chinese manufacturers. This decision follows the announcement of up to 5,550 job cuts and a previous reduction for 450 staff. The working hours for most affected employees will drop from 38 or 40 hours to 35 hours.
