Former Legislator Shen Fu-hsiung compared the situation to handling an unworthy crown prince like the Kangxi Emperor, noting his surprise at Cheng Wen-tsang's continued smile despite the circumstances. Shen further expressed that while Cheng may have had a political faction protecting him, the Presidential faction has withdrawn its support, bringing attention to the severity of the charges against him.
