China's Rare Earth Magnet Exports to the US Soar in June

Reported about 15 hours ago

In June, exports of rare earth magnets from China to the United States surged over 660% compared to May, reaching 353 metric tons. This spike follows trade agreements that addressed shipment issues, significantly boosting the flow of these critical minerals essential for electric vehicles and wind turbines. China's overall global exports of rare earth permanent magnets also increased by 157.5%, although they remain lower than last year's figures. Analysts predict further recovery in shipments due to improved licensing processes.
