The Mainland Affairs Council raised the travel advisory for China, Hong Kong, and Macau to 'orange light,' advising Taiwanese to avoid 'non-essential travel.' In response, DPP spokesperson Wu Zheng pointed out China's recent 'evil laws' that infringe on human rights and intimidate the populace, warning that Taiwan citizens could become victims of these laws if they travel to China. Wu emphasized the need for caution and evaluating the risks before traveling to China due to the increase in oppressive laws and threats faced by Taiwanese in recent years.
