FTNN News Website reported on June 23, 2024, at 10:10 PM that a 27-year-old man surnamed Ding accidentally hit a transformer box while driving through Kaohsiung's Sanmin District on Jiu Ru Er Road near Minzu First Road at 5:19 AM on the same day, causing a power outage for 826 households. The incident also impacted 1 SUV and 6 motorcycles. Ding suffered minor leg injuries but did not seek medical attention. Authorities suspect he lost focus while driving in the early morning, leading to the collision with the transformer box and subsequent power outage.
