Russia's Gazprom has stopped supplying natural gas to Austria, as confirmed by the utility OMV, following a decision to halt payments after winning a 230 million-euro arbitration award. This cutoff comes as Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer assured that the country has secured alternative fuel supplies for winter. OMV has stated it has adequate gas reserves, with storage levels exceeding 90%, to handle potential disruptions.
