Google announced a $15 billion investment over five years to establish an AI data center in Andhra Pradesh, India, marking its largest investment in the country to date. The center in Visakhapatnam will initially have a capacity of 1-Gigawatt, with plans for future scaling. As part of a global network of AI centers, this investment will help meet the rising demand for AI services and is expected to create 188,000 jobs.
