In the mountainous area of Taiwan's Nantou to Yunlin on Route 149, a sudden heavy rainstorm caused flash floods with rolling mudflows, making it impossible to see the road surface for a motorcycle team of 21 bikes and 22 people. Despite the perilous conditions, they all managed to safely travel downhill. The intense rain delayed their journey, but their heavy bikes provided stability. The experience highlighted the dangers of riding in mountainous areas during afternoon thunderstorms, urging caution for future trips.
