On July 7, 2024, at 3:09 in the morning, a death accident occurred at the Kanazawa Racecourse in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. A 20-year-old horse groom fell off a horse during training and collided heavily with the iron starting gate, leading to fatal injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the groom succumbed to traumatic shock.
