Inflation experienced a 2.7% rise in November, reflecting a 0.3% month-over-month increase, according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data. Claudia Sahm, chief economist at New Century Advisors, noted that while inflation progress has been uneven recently, the current data is 'not alarming' despite being firmer than Federal Reserve targets. Shelter inflation remains a significant concern, accounting for 40% of overall inflation.
