On July 7, 2024, at 3:39 AM, a tragic incident resulted in the death of an employee surnamed Zheng and serious injuries to an employee surnamed Peng at a BBQ restaurant. Both are students of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Chung Shan Medical University, with a senior-junior relationship. They had been working at the restaurant for nearly a year, but this summer job ended in tragedy, with Zheng's family rushing from Chiayi to Taichung.
