This incident affected around 3600 households in the area, including the Changhua Hospital where non-urgent areas lost power, leading to overheated wards. Due to the situation, medical staff and patients were uncomfortable, with one physician posting about the heat on social media. The power supply was restored by 10:45 am after urgent action from the power company.
