The U.S. energy storage market experienced unprecedented growth in Q3, with 3,806 MW of new installations and 9,931 MWh deployed, according to a Wood Mackenzie report. This marks increases of 80% and 58% year-over-year. The report also forecasts that grid-scale installations will more than double by 2028, driven primarily by Texas and California. However, experts caution that maintaining this growth rate may be challenging due to development constraints and potential shifts in tax incentives.
