A recent Russian attack in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region destroyed trains and tracks, leading to the evacuation of children from the area as part of a new offensive by Russia. The attack damaged buildings and disrupted the railway system, with no reported injuries. More than 11,000 people have been evacuated from the region since the offensive began, with 123 orphans and children without parents being mandatorily evacuated. The offensive includes incursions in different regions, putting pressure on Ukraine's already stretched military forces, exacerbated by delays in receiving crucial Western aid such as air defense systems to counter Russian attacks.
