Silicon Box, a semiconductor firm based in Singapore, has selected Novara in the Piedmont region of Italy for its new multi-billion-euro chip factory. The startup, founded by former Marvell executives, plans to invest 3.2 billion euros to manufacture 'chiplets' in Italy, with the potential to create a semiconductor hub in Piedmont.
