Taipei Police Officer, 26, Crashes Heavy Motorcycle at Racing Track, Suffers Brain Hemorrhage and is in Coma while Being Saved

On July 7, 2024, a 26-year-old police officer named Liu from the water Nanyue police station of Taichung city crashed his heavy motorcycle on the racetrack at the largest kart racing track in central Taiwan, Xihu K1 Racing Track, during a training session. He was found without vital signs, received immediate CPR, and was rushed to Changhua County Hospital by the Changhua Fire Department. Luckily, he showed signs of life after treatment and was transferred to China Medical University Hospital, where he is being treated for a suspected brain hemorrhage. Liu graduated from the Police Academy in 34th term and joined the water Nanyue police station in January 2021. The police station is closely monitoring Liu's condition and assisting his family with necessary arrangements.
