Reported 12 months ago

In May last year, a Taiwanese teenage, who inherited a fortune of 500 million, married a 26-year-old man named Summer in a same-sex marriage; however, the man fell to his death shortly after. The mother of the teenager accused him of plotting to inherit the fortune. After a trial, the court determined that the teenage was heterosexual and they had a sham marriage. Summer not only refused to admit guilt but also taunted the judge. He was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for misusing the marriage system with the possibility to appeal.
