Governor Abbott emphasized Texas' economic ties with Taiwan and signed the agreement with Minister of Economic Affairs, Ke Chih-hui, to potentially assist Taiwanese supply chains in seeking business opportunities in Texas, based on local conditions. The Economic Affairs Minister expressed readiness to support small and medium enterprises with investment incentives, administrative procedures for setting up factories, and communication with local governments, aiming to enhance the economic relationship between Texas and Taiwan and create greater business prospects.
