In the first 11 months of 2024, U.S. imports of Venezuelan crude oil averaged 222,000 barrels per day, making Venezuela the fourth largest supplier to the U.S. While accounting for only 3.5% of total U.S. crude imports in November, it constituted about 13% of crude oil imported by Gulf Coast refineries. Valero Energy emerged as the top buyer of Venezuelan crude, followed by Chevron and PBF Energy.
