Tang Chiping's mental state is currently unstable after his mother was found dead on the top floor of a rental property in early June. Zheng Wen-Can, the chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), resigned from his position due to suspected corruption allegations and was ordered by the Taoyuan District Court to post bail of NT$5 million.
