The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will hold a 10-day 'DPP Diplomatic Training Camp' from July 23 to August 1, led by DPP Deputy Secretary-General Yang Yishan, sending young political workers from the legislature, parliament, think tanks, and NGOs to Washington D.C. and New York to engage in dialogues and exchanges with American experts and scholars. Yang Yishan, rumored to take on the role of Deputy Representative to the US, responded with just 'thank you' to questions from the media, without a direct confirmation. The camp aims to foster international talent and enhance Taiwan's diplomatic capabilities.
