The Ministry of Finance announced that the first batch of tax refunds for this year will be credited on July 31, totaling over 3.42 million cases and a refund amount of 55.8 billion NTD, marking historical highs. Each household is expected to receive an average refund of around 16,315 NTD. Compared to the previous year, the number of refund cases has increased by over 90,000, and the refund amount increased by more than 200 million NTD, attributed to the rise in total tax filings. Taxpayers can receive refunds through various ways including electronic filing and online confirmation.
