On July 15, 2024, in a village in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, 41 members of a community dined at a restaurant, leading to four individuals experiencing severe symptoms including respiratory distress and muscle stiffness. One person remains in a coma, while the others require ventilators. Tests revealed the presence of two pesticides, Etofenprox and Terbufos, in their stomachs. Authorities have launched an investigation with a 57-member team, considering the possibility of intentional poisoning.
