Reported 10 months ago

Goldman Sachs has appointed Jens Hofmann and Tibor Kossa, both internal employees, as co-heads of its investment banking operations in Germany and Austria. Hofmann, who has been with the company since 1994 and rose to managing director in 2004, will be joined by Kossa, who joined in 2018 and recently served as co-head of M&A in the region. Christopher Droege, previously co-leader of M&A with Kossa, will now lead M&A solo for the two countries. Alexander Mayer, the former head of Germany for Goldman, has departed for JP Morgan after a 24-year tenure.
