In Taitung, a severe accident occurred early this morning on the Taitung 9 Line, where a motorcyclist collided with a large truck. The 23-year-old rider was left in critical condition and was rushed to the hospital, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries but is not in life-threatening condition.
