Foreign banks are competing to capture a large portion of the consumer market, with research by the HSBC Group on credit card consumption patterns in Taiwan showing that people are most interested in cashback offers for dining, shopping, and entertainment. To seize this opportunity, HSBC launched the new 'Live+ Cashback Card' on the 17th, offering up to 5.88% cashback on dining, shopping, and entertainment across Asia, including Taiwan, partnering with Visa to provide discounts at over 200 selected restaurants in Asia and collaborating with the Wang Group to offer 15% daily unlimited point rewards. In addition, domestic restaurants offer 3.88% cashback, with an additional 1% cashback in seven major Asian countries for dining. HSBC, being the bank with the most branches in Asia, also collaborates with various major department stores, online shopping platforms, cinemas, and domestic and international theme parks, offering 3.88% cashback on card spending.
