The average occupancy rate at Taipei's JW Marriott stands at 75.26% for the first half of 2024, remaining stable year-on-year. The increase in international travelers, spurred by the booming AI and tech industries, alongside a 20% reduction in hotel room supply due to renovations during the pandemic, has led to an increase in average room rates to NT$5,800, rising 10.18% from last year. Expectations for the second half of the year and into 2025 are positive, with further increases in average room rates anticipated due to recovering tourism and upcoming new hotel openings.
