The renowned Yuanshan Hotel in Taiwan is reportedly undergoing significant personnel changes, with the possibility of Yao Kuan-lan, recently stepped down as chair of the Taiwan Tourism Association, taking over as the new board chair. This news has surprised the transportation and tourism sectors. Currently, the hotel is led by Lin Yu-sheng, who was appointed by former Premier Su Tseng-chang in March 2019. Despite achieving impressive revenue, the potential change in leadership is seen as a strategic decision influenced by party dynamics. An extraordinary board meeting may be held as early as August to confirm the new appointment.
