Nationalist Party legislator Xu Qiaoxin's aunt Liu Xiangjie, along with the couple Du Bingcheng and his wife, and Lin Yulun, a friend of Liu, are suspected of joining a fraud group and aiding in money laundering of 27 million NT dollars. The Taipei District Prosecutors' Office filed charges against the four individuals for aggravated fraud, with Du Bingcheng admitting guilt in court, while Liu Xiangjie denied the allegations. The court decided to continue detaining Liu Xiangjie and Du Bingcheng. Liu Xiangjie claimed she assisted her husband in cryptocurrency trading by verifying clients' identities, emphasizing that she was not involved in the main trading business managed by Du Bingcheng.
