On the night of July 17, 2024, Taipei's Neihu District experienced a power outage affecting 3,279 households due to a 'feeder line' failure. The outage, which occurred around 9:41 PM, prompted immediate repairs by Taipower, and reports indicated that five individuals were trapped in an elevator but were later rescued. Taipower confirmed that power was restored to all affected areas by 10:14 PM.
