Singapore Airlines shares declined over 1% in early trading after a turbulent flight resulted in a passenger's death from a suspected heart attack and injuries to several others. The incident occurred during flight SQ321 over Myanmar, with the airline attributing it to sudden and extreme turbulence. The stock was down 1.3% at S$6.67 ($4.94) after falling as low as 1.8% to S$6.64, as Singapore markets reopened following a holiday closure.
