Thai police revealed that six people, including two US citizens, found dead in a luxury hotel in Bangkok likely died from drinking tea and coffee cups laced with cyanide following a dispute over bad investments. The victims, two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals, were found with cyanide in their mugs and cups. Authorities are investigating whether the deaths were murder or suicide, with evidence pointing towards the former due to a personal matter related to debt. The US State Department expressed condolences to the families of the deceased US citizens.
