Nationalist Party legislator Xu Qiaoxin's aunt, Liu Xiangjie, and her husband Du Bingcheng, are accused of helping a fraud ring launder 27 million NT dollars and have been indicted. During a recent court hearing, Du Bingcheng admitted guilt and hinted at Xu Qiaoxin's involvement in submarine voiceprints, kickbacks, and insider trading. While Liu Xiangjie denied the charges, their son-in-law Lin Yulun was released on bail at 500,000 NT dollars. The couple remains detained for further investigation, with Du Bingcheng's admissions causing prosecutors to scrutinize Xu Qiaoxin's actions. Liu Xiangjie pushed blame onto her husband and denied involvement in the crimes, leading to both being held in custody as the investigation unfolds.
