On July 17, 2024, Democratic Progressive Party councilor Zhang Zhaoliang from Taoyuan City was searched by the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office in ten locations for suspected involvement in lobbying for the demolition report of an illegal construction in Longtan District years ago.
