Creative studio Wukou is set to adapt the popular Taiwanese comic 'Three Unmarried Women' into a musical, following their successful production 'SC Brewpub.' This new project has secured investments from the National Culture and Arts Foundation and private enterprises, aiming for a long-lasting theatrical run. The production team believes that the story's relevance to contemporary issues surrounding marriage, particularly among young audiences, provides a strong 'box office engine' for attracting viewers. The musical is expected to premiere in April 2024, featuring a narrative that extends beyond the original comic while maintaining core character identities.
