Rare images of the Mashco Piro, an uncontacted Indigenous tribe in the Peruvian Amazon, have been captured and published by Survival International. The tribe has been seen more frequently near logging concessions, possibly in search of food and moving away from the growing presence of loggers. Concerns are raised about the impact of logging activities on their territory, as more than 50 tribe members have been sighted recently near villages in the region.
