The Central Weather Bureau announced the hot weather forecast for the following day, with Tainan City and Pingtung County under orange warning for the probability of reaching 36 degrees. The day will be mainly sunny to partly cloudy with localized brief thunder showers in the afternoon, particularly in the western and eastern mountainous regions. Taipei City, Taichung City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, and Kaohsiung City are under yellow warning. Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, stay hydrated, and prevent heat-related injuries.
