10 New Regulations Coming in July! $250 Agritourism Vouchers and Free Rapid Tests on the Horizon

As June comes to an end, preparations for 10 new regulations in July are underway, including the introduction of the '250 yuan agritourism vouchers' to boost tourism in eastern Taiwan, as well as the distribution of 3 million free rapid antigen test kits at 2,000 clinics nationwide. Other measures include the implementation of Traffic Offense 2.0 and restrictions on public reporting of 8 minor traffic offenses, the introduction of public bicycle accident insurance and violation point system for YouBike users in Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan from July, as well as the sale of Taiwan PASS railway edition offering a 2-for-1 deal for certain routes. Additionally, there are tourism subsidies for group tours in Taitung, the implementation of Property Hoarding Tax 2.0, and adjustments in standard premium rates for travel insurance policies effective July 1st. Moreover, the Food and Drug Administration will discontinue classifying cosmetic categories starting in July, streamline the registration process, and enhance safety regulations for cosmetics.
